Rona put them on straight away and loved them she didnt see the denim ones till later and got cranky as i wanted her to take "pretty flower ones off" hence the sulky face in the first pic LOL

The very talented SUZ made these for Zeke and i love them they are so cute and very boyish after having 3 girls in a row its great to have something other then pink or purple around again.

They dont fit him just yet but they will soon they came wrapped in the same material the hoodie is made out of and i LOVE the dinosaurs

Duffel bags and hat

The kids are going to a siblings camp tomorrow so they needed bags to carry their towels and things in when they go to the beach.

So i made the boys a duffel bag each This is Logans he is older now so not so much into the theme material LOL

This is Kye's he loves the spiderman material so he got it . They are fully lined inside and have a pocket for keeping their wallets and sunscreen in.

And finally my very first attemp at making a hat with no pattern :0. The brim is a bit big and floppy as i didnt have anything apart from pelon (i think that's what its called) so i think i need something stiffer but again he loves it so im rather proud of my first ever hat

Well here is the engagement present i made for Paige's friend on the weekend.

Im not sure on the colour of the edging but apparently it was very much liked the edging is also the material that is on the back of the placemats and the centre mat.

But they are done and liked so thats the main thing i guess LOL

Finally i have gotten around to posting my pics of my swap i got from the lovely LISA.

Its not all in the pic as DD2 decided the little christmas deco's had to go on the tree as soon as it was opened and mummy didnt get a say.

But here is the bag i love it i just have to tell DD15 to keep her hands off and the material was made into a dress for DD2 as the one i made wasnt good enough once she saw this one so thank you Lisa it was great

Charlize does Tap as well this is her outfit they danced to Working 9 to 5

Paige does classical ballet they danced to The X-Files theme

That is it for this year YAY but they looked great and all enjoyed it

Well been ages since he has been on here if at all i cant remember now .

But i finished his dungaree's today they are made out of material i think i got in a swap with Tigerfilly. I love it its so cute and they turned out great i think.

They are a bit big but oh well he will get more wear out of them this way

This wrap skirt i made for myself for the kids dance concert on Sunday not sure if im going to make a top tomorrow or wear a black one i have . Its not the best picture but the material is an off white with small black paisley print and little eyelet holes through it all .

Here is a little skirt i ran up for Rona as usual the minute i start to sew she is at me demanding a dress or skirt and gets the poops when i dont use the colour she wants LOL.

Well i finally got my batteries charged but could only manage a few pics of recent sewing. So here is a dress for Rona using some material i picked up in a op shop she loves it. Miss T in a summer dress i got this material of Ebay i love it its so cute with the seahorses on it.

Helen should know this material i got this off her in the trading room a while ago well i made it into a skirt and backless top for Miss T

for her birthday the pink goes so well with it.

HINT The material in ROnas hair is scrap from my SWAP present LOL

Hi everyone,

Well i am yet to find my battery charger so i can take pics of all my sewing and blog it .
I have sewn heaps the last week or 2 so by the time i find my charger it will take me forever to blog it but oh well one day.

To start with im posting SS swap Questions and Answers time to get things rolling.

Do you have any Christmas Traditions?.............We buy each child a special ornament every year so when they leave home they will have their own special christmas decorations

What sizes are your children?........Paige is in a 12-14 ladies, Logan is in size 12, Kye size 10 Charlize is a size 6, T'keyah is size 4 and rona is size 3-4 and Zeke is slowly hopefully heading into 2 0's LOL

Do you like quick projects or things that take a little longer? ..........Depends ive started quilts so they take a while LOL but mostly i like things i can see progress with straight away

Is there anything that you like to collect?............... Apart from material ummmmmmmmm i love dragons and crystals

Well i have sewed YAY again been ages and boy am i in pain from it but it is worth it i think it turned out pretty good.

My first ever quilt (just dont look closely lol) First pic is the whole thing the second is a close up and third is with a bit of the backing showing

I even put his name in the plain yellow squares and broke my machine at the same time lol

Well i know im supposed to be on bed rest and i admit i did the little one by hand sewing but i had to use the machine to do eldest daughters.

Believe me now when i say i wont be sitting at the machine

i could hardly move when i finished so am now on my bed resting while i update the blog and things.

The little one is out of polar fleece and i stitched up the side so it was inclosed but it gaped around her head so added a scrap bit and made it into a scarf i think it turned out cool. So did one for the biggest child but as i said i did have to use the machine as it was wool so it needed proper edging on it so it didnt fray.

My 5 year old has now picked out her material so i am going to handsew that tonight for her when im hopefully not in so much pain.

Oh well not as much as i thought as my camera decided to stop talking to the computer half way through.

i actually made 2 pairs of the pants to the one top as you know what babies can do to pants LOL.

The next i wasnt going to post but someone asked me to once before so here are my home made pads. I have 7 new ones for after we get home from hospital these ones are topped with bamboo velour i had left over from making wipes.

Well i finally got some sewing done for the baby today. Will have to do a couple of posts as i

t would take to long to put all the pictures in one post. So here goes.

The first is a sleeping bag suit not sure if its boyish enough or not. With the left over material from that i made him some trackie pants with feet and then some flannel pants.

Well this is DD's first ever sewing attempt i think she did great. It was a peice of material i had in the drawer so she picked it out and i helped her cut it out and she sewed it all up herself.

Only a couple of MUMMMMMM's were heard LOL.

Well this is the cake i ended up cheating after a shocking couple of weeks and a really bad day before the party i didnt get the cake made till the morning of the party and so didnt have time to do what i wanted as it was i finally got it finsihed a half hour before everyone turned up.

The other pic is of my family all dressed nice well sort of the boys would co-operate with nice clothes and i wasnt in the mood to argue.

Well i finally got the dresses made and decided to do a different style for the three of them and i like how they turned out. Miss T and Miss C loved trying them on as i went but Miss grumpy R hated it she hates clothes at the moment so trying to fit stuff is so much fun.

DD13 had an assignment for ballet so she wanted to do something different so while she got all the written work done mummy got sucked into making tiny outfits and daddy made a stage. So i made a doll sized tutu a romantic ballet dress and a males pants and top with sash and tie.

Still waiting on results will let you know how I (lol) went when she gets marked.

Woke up this morning to a parcel at my door. Thank you so much Natalie the girls love them so much, they havent taken them off since they opened it . They look so cute and Charlie has run around all morning loving her turtle outfit. T wont let me take hers off at all and Rona is still in her top and wings the skirt went LOL.

Called into spotlight on Friday afternoon to grab a few things and they had a whole table of material for $2 a metre i could have gone mad if money hadnt been a problem LOL. I got the brown tie dye chiffon and the brown cotton drill and the gorgeous brown floral cord with sequins. Hubby picked out the love hippy material and the strippy material i got to make DD's some light weight jackets. As well as more jammie material and 4 rolls of trim marked down to $1.50 a roll.

Well it got cold here yesterday so i thought id make some of the cord up that i have had just sitting around. Helen should recognise the pants material LOL. I trimmed it with a plain purple cord i got of ebay i like them now i just have to get some purple to make a top to go with it. Im not real keen on how T's overalls turned out i had heaps of trouble getting them all together last night but they are ok. They have pockets on the back trimmed with the same material that Ronas are made out of. Rona's overalls im pretty proud of they too were fiddly but i think they turned out pretty good and they look cute on LOL. T's overalls are in a diff post cause blogger wouldnt let me load 3 pics.

I got given this material so thought id make them a little dress each. The pattern i used was shocking it measured small but when made up it turned out so big. The ribbon on the green one is from my V day swap i found matching dragonfly buttons so it looks cute LOL.

I got given the material and my eldest DD loved it so i made these PJ's out of it for her. They are pretty easy but had a problem with the under arm bit it turned out to loose so i might ha

Cushion

This is the cushion i made for a friend i met while my Daughter was in hospital in 2004. The day i met her her Daughter Jess was in for surgery to remove a tumour from her stomach.
In the following year we spent a lot of time at Ronald Macdonald House while my little girl was either in hospital or down for appointments and Jess was going through chemo.
We had babies a month apart the start of last year and Jess was in remission. Late last year they got the news that her tumour was back and that there was nothing they could do.
Jess passed away on the 6th of Feb this year so i wanted to make something for her mum to keep.

YAY i finally got this made i cut it out a week or so ago but never got time to sit and sew it till today. The pattern is a bit fidly but i think it turned out ok oh and i also did a buttonhole **happydance** LOL. Its a size two but it is a bit big on my DD i think it would actually fit my 4 year old.

The pink is interlock i got it really cheap from spotlight (dont know why) I think im going to make the girls some little dresses to wear around the house out of it. The lemon and white check was also on special at spotlight am going to make pants and the little bib front dress i think.
The other material is only bits and pieces i got given from the old lady over the road there is enough to make little skirts or pants out of each piece just cant make up my mind LOL.

DD3 loves the yellow flower one i want to try the teired top with that but will have to work out pattern first. I think the gingham one would be nice for a dress im not sure but LOL

Thanks POV here is the cross back outfits i made the other night. DH doesnt like the bloomer type pants so i made just shorts to match.
I love this pattern its so easy i cut out and made all three outfits in three hours LOL i lined the inside with the same material as their pants are in.

This is my bargain material i found at st vinnies there was about half a metre of the terry and a metre of the interlock. Not realy my colour but they turned out ok in these shorts and tops for the girls and cant complain for $2 LOL

This is my first skirt i have made for me :)

Won this material on ebay (love paisley) so made this wrap skirt.

Well it took a while to add this so i will add the other pics later.
This is my first attempt at shirring so i made the girls a simple wrap skirt with a frill around the edge and a shirred top to go with it.
